1

Shane Dawson and Logan Paul

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (3)

Logan wasn't super thrilled about certain parts of Shane's The Mind of Jake Paul docu-series that dropped on YouTube in 2018. The elder Paul brother called out Shane for implying he and Jake Paul were sociopaths. He was also super annoyed Shane made a joke about not knowing the brothers "were different people."

Moreover, when a fan tweeted about the comment, asking, "Are y’all team @LoganPaul or @shanedawson in this situation?" Shane responded, "It was a joke haha i’m team anyone who understands a joke. and i think he did. but it’s better if he acted like he didn’t. but that’s just my hummmmmble opinion allegedly *rich voice*."

2

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (4)

The rap icons have had tension with each other since 2017, but things got HEATED when they got physical during the Harper's Bazaar ICONS party in September 2018. Cardi took off her shoe and threw it at Nicki, then later yelled, "Play with me bitch...keep f--king playing with me, play with my f--king kid bitch...I'll f--k your ass up."

According to TMZ, the brawl happened when Cardi approached Nicki's table to talk about "the lies Nicki was spreading."

A month later, Nicki said on Queen Radio about the brawl, "Rah [Ali] beat Cardi's ass really bad." Nicki also discussed other aspects of the feud, which seriously pissed off Cardi. Cardi then made several Instagram videos about the whole situation.

Thankfully, the two buried the hatchet in October when they said they'd like to "focus on positive things."

3

Chloe Woodard and Jake Paul

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (5)

During Summer 2018, Jake found himself in hot water (again), this time with former Vine star Chloe Woodard, aka Chloe Lmao. Chloe became famous for her "Who Is She" Vine.

On June 4, Jake decided to copy Chloe's Vine, posting the video on Twitter. When Chloe got wind of it, she was less than pleased. She tweeted, "Hey Jake! That's my vine! I would say 'in the future, tag me!' but there is no future, stop using my content, and do not associate with me in any way thanks :)"

Instead of apologizing for ripping off her work, or even just ignoring her, Jake replied to her tweet with a video of himself stealing her idea again, and flipping her off.

Chloe then replied, "I would try to recreate one of your iconic moments as a response but unfortunately they're all disgraceful events in which you were publicly shamed. So thanks for the @ king!"

Jeffree Star and Huda Kattan

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (6)

In October 2018, Jeffree reignited his feud with fellow beauty vlogger Huda.

After makeup artist Cole Carrigan tweeted he received PR emails from several companies, including Huda Beauty, Jeffree got savage: "Tell Huda Beauty to f--k off and use products from someone with a soul."

Months earlier, Jeffree called out Huda for stealing the concept for her Easy Bake Setting Powder from indie brand Beauty Bakerie. He later messaged Huda Beauty, then tweeted screenshots of the conversation.

5

Gabriel Zamora and Thomas Halbert

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (7)

In October 2018, Gabriel decided to weigh in on the crazy Thomas and Jeffree Star feud. After tweeting, "Best advice: KEEP IT 💯," he went on Snapchat to call Thomas out for "playing both sides" in the Jeffree drama. Gabriel accused Thomas of going back and forth between Jeffree, Manny 'MUA' Gutierrez, and Laura Lee to cause problems. Basically, he was going behind their backs.

"I knew you were gonna be a rat and pull some shady sh-t like that to [Manny]," Gabriel said. "Even though me and Manny don’t f--k with each other right now... don't try to like bandwagon and lie on him, cause now you’re being exposed for playing both sides."

6

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (8)

After the duo's whirlwind romance and engagement came to an abrupt end, Pete decided to throw shade at his former fiancée in November 2018 during a SNL promo. He "proposed" to Maggie Rogers — which she turned down — and he said, "O for 3."

Ari was less than pleased. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote, "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh." She also retweeted a fan's tweet that read, "SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement."

Moreover, she tweeted, "Hell naw tho" and "Thank u, next," presumably referring to Pete.

Lil Xan and Noah Cyrus

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (9)

This couple had the messiest breakup in 2018. When Noah posted a pic of her with artist Ookay in September, Lil Xan said on IG Stories he was "probably being cheated on." He later said, "Yo, it just hurts so f--king bad," adding, "you think you know somebody and then you just get used. Literally my whole life is just being used."

On Noah's Insta, she shared that a Charlie Puth meme she sent Lil Xan might be the reason why he thinks she cheated. Lil Xan then cleared up that confusion by saying on IG Stories he didn't end things with Noah because of the meme, but rather because of the pic of her and Ookay. "She was all over some dude," he said.

Noah then accused Lil Xan of cheating on her, claiming she saw a hickey on his neck.

Then, Lil Xan dropped a bombshell on Instagram Live about their relationship: "It was something set up by Columbia Records."

Naturally, Noah clapped back and said the relationship wasn't ever fake.

8

Alissa Violet & Jake Paul

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (10)

Who could forget Alissa Violet and Jake Paul's infamously vengeful Twitter storm over their ~really~ messy breakup? Everything seemed fine with Jalissa; they posted rocking YouTube videos together and exposed the cutest moments of their relationship for fans (like when Alissa surprised Jake with a helicopter ride for his birthday).

But just one month after that birthday surprise, things turned sour. Alissa posted salty Tweets that indicated something was up. Remember this one that said "Jake rhymes with snake! 🐍"? After a day and a half of shady Tweets, she shared a video where she said Jake was kicking her out of the Team 10 house.

To this, Jake replied with a Tweet that said, "Predicted this is what she'd do. Jalissa WAS real. The problem is she cheated on me. I am the victim, not her."

And Jake didn't just claim that she cheated. He went on to say that she strayed to be with his brother, Logan.

Since Jake was clearly not going to take responsibility for any part of their failed relationship, Alissa amped up her story with a Tweet that questioned how Jalissa could be real if Jake "had girl after girl over every single night in front of [her]?"

And that's when Jake started to take a different approach to the whole breakup thing. All of a sudden, he started tweeting about how great Alissa was and how they'd always be friends. He even went on to say that he was "in love" with Alissa. Sure.

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (11)

Jelena fans LOVED getting to watch every precious moment between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez unfold on social media. There were sweet red carpet moments and who can forget Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe?" DIY music video that starred Jelena being totally cute?! That video practically blew up YouTube.

But sweetness turned into saltiness when the two split up in 2012. After the breakup, Justin was spotted hanging out with Sofia Richie, and Jelena fans were NOT pleased. They came for Sofia in the comments, and Justin didn't like it. "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand. If you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like," Justin captioned a picture of the two of them.

That's when Selena decided to hop on into the dramarama. Sel totally roasted Justin on Instagram for getting mad at his fans. And then things got REALLY good.

Justin replied to Selena: "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love."

Justin went on: "I'm not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope you all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes, I love my Beliebers."

That's when Selena spat back: "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad."

To this, Justin seemed unforgiving as he replied, "I cheated... Oh, I forgot about You and Zayn?" Ouch.

Selena ended up apologizing for her "selfish and pointless" comments over Snapchat.

And although the two started to rekindle their long, lost love earlier this year, they seem to have fizzled out for good. Sorry, Jelena fans!

Katy Perry & Taylor Swift

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (12)

Who can resist diving into the drama heaven that is the BFF feud between Katy and Taylor?

The fight began over stolen backup dancers. In 2014, Taylor told Billboard that Katy Perry "basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour" by calling three of her dancers behind her back and poaching them. The dancers wound up quitting the tour to dance for Katy, which left Taylor hanging.

That's when Taylor's song, "Bad Blood," came out. She told Rolling Stone that it was about another female pop star. This is also when she brutally confirmed that she and Katy were "straight-up enemies."

And there was no going back after that. The day after the article came out, Katy took to Twitter with an infamous Mean Girls reference: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."

The feud continued over the years, all the way into the summer of 2017 when Katy came out with her single "Swish Swish" on the same day Taylor released her single.

And the release date wasn't the only thing that was shady. If you look closely at Katy's music video for "Swish Swish" you'll see a wolf in sheep's clothing, which rings back that Regina George tweet from two years prior.

Since then, things have settled. Katy addressed the years-long feud recently on Carpool Karaoke. Although she did reiterate that Taylor "started it," Katy mentioned that she "tried to talk to her about it, and she wouldn't speak to [her]."

Katy also told Australia's Today show two months later, "I love her, I always have."

Though the ex-besties have ~sort of~ patched things up, there's definitely still some tension between the two even today. In a March 2018 episode of American Idol (on which Katy is a judge), one contestant apologized after saying that his favorite artist was Taylor Swift. Katy really tried to put on a good face. "Oh, you don't have to be sorry," she said. "I love her, as a songwriter, as well."

Though she definitely choked on her words a bit when she said that last part. #Awk.

11

Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (13)

After these two broke up (supposedly because Calvin just wasn't as into the relationship), a major scandal ERUPTED and the internet took note.

Taylor started claiming that she was the one who wrote Calvin's huge hit, "This Is What You Came For." And while there is some truth to that (Tay did write the song's lyrics, but did not write any of the music), Calvin was NOT having it. He tweeted that Taylor "need[ed] someone new to try and bury like Katy." Wow.

Over time, it started to look like things were "okay" between the exes. In 2016, Taylor retweeted Calvin's post about why the relationship ended: "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect." And it was *almost* a peaceful breakup...

But then a couple weeks later, Calvin found out that Taylor was making out with Tom Hiddleston, and he immediately took down the Tweet about his "love and respect" for Taylor, and then unfollowed her.

Oh, but there's more. Since then, both musicians have completely deleted pictures of their time as a couple from their social accounts.

One thing's for sure, we don't think Talvin will be rekindling anytime soon.

Iggy Azalea & Nick Young

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (14)

When Iggy found out fiancé Nick was cheating on her behind her back, she took action. Three months after the allegations went public, the engaged couple split and Iggy explained what really went down. "I broke up with Nick because I found out he had brought other women into our home while I was away and caught them on the security footage," she said in one tweet. In another she said, "This is just like a second shot to the chest. And I feel like I don't even know who the hell it is I've been loving all this time."

Nick's response to the scandal, however, was a ~little~ different. In one tweet he said, "If you perfect then be perfect I live in a world where ppl f*ck up learn from it and move on ..."

This statement was shortly followed by another tweet: "That's life ... hate me or love me I'm still going to love life man."

Kim Kardashian & All Her Haters

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (15)

For Valentine's Day in 2018, Kim Kardashian decided to send everyone a valentine — even her haters. She took to Snapchat to share the news... and an entire list of "lovers" and "haters" who would be receiving her heart-shaped, chocolate-encased fragrances as valentines.

Most notable among her haters were Taylor Swift, Blac Chyna, and P!nk. Kim's faves — like Paris Hilton and momager Kris Jenner — also received the signature scent.

While many of the haters took the diss silently, a few opted to stand up to Kim. Blac Chyna for one, labeled the valentine as "very cruel" and called Kim a "huge bully" for engaging in something so petty. She was also confused as to why she would be considered a "hater" since she hadn't spoken to the press negatively about Kim.

But this little tiff was the calm before the storm as Chyna went on to file a lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family for supposedly ruining her reality TV show with Rob Kardashian. Chyna then decided to clear legal charges against all the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, except for Kim and homager Kris. Ultimately, a judge dismissed the case.

14

Kendall Jenner & Scott Disick

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (16)

When Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian split up in 2015, fans were both happy and sad. They fell in love with the couple's funny banter on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but Scott was also revealed to be an alcoholic with some serious partying and potential cheating issues. In the end, a breakup did seem like a good call.

But that doesn't mean that the split wasn't hard on everyone, including Kourt's family. And when Scott seemed to move on with young model Sofia Richie, the famous sisters were far from thrilled.

In fact, Kris Jenner grilled Scott pretty hard in one February episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. He kept his cool though, knowing that he could always pull up the fact that Kris was 12 years younger than her ex Robert Kardashian.

But when a Scott Disick fan account posted an Instagram picture of him with Sofia, Kendall Jenner couldn't help but get shady as hell. She commented, “Awww scott and his kids 😄."Yikes.

15

Jeffree Star & Laura Lee

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (17)

These beauty vloggers used to be total squad goals. Laura and Jeffree guest-starred on each other's channels to review products and they are known for making some funny music videos. They went everywhere together (this amazing pic of them with fellow makeup artist Manny MUA will give you all the nostalgic feels). They looked like BFF magic!

That is, until Jeffree Star started posting some interesting tweets about how much better his life was after realizing that "the beauty community has turned into such an ugly place full of evil people."

Jeffree then posted a pic of him looking glam as hell with the caption: "Walking into my ex-best friends funeral like..."

Fans speculated that the Twitter shade was meant for Laura Lee, and Jeffree didn't make them wait long for a confirmation. When one fan commented on the pic that Laura had a "good soul," Jeffree replied, "Her soul is pure evil." The makeup artist then quickly deleted his comment.

Laura made no public comments about their falling out, but she did like many of the fan tweets that supported her.

But what did Laura do to upset Jeffree so much?? We'll never know. But what we do know is that creating more frenemies than friends has become Jeffree's specialty. Before this, he befriended and de-friended other beauty gurus including Jaclyn Hill, Kat Von D, Nikita Dragun and Gabriel Zamora. Oh, and don't forget that time he totally torched Kylie's lip glosses in a scathing review of Kylie Cosmetics.

Chrissy Teigen & John Legend (& A Million Other People)

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (18)

Not all saltiness has to be serious. And Chrissy Teigen, the queen of Twitter, has proved that point over the years. She doesn't care whether you're some rando off the street or the President of the United States (yes, she called out Donald Trump on Twitter for the most recent immigration policy), she's always here to come for YOU.

One of our favorite CT shades, however, was a tweet for Shawn Mendes, who she called "shady AF." GQ came out with their best-dressed list for 2017, and John Legend was pitted against Shawn Mendes for their audience to vote on who had better style. When Chrissy tweeted to her fans asking them to vote for John, Shawn retweeted it. And that's when Chrissy replied, "U SHADY AF SHAWN I RESPECT IT."

Though the Shawn Mendes tweet was great, Chrissy's favorite person to call out is her husband. When John Legend does something annoying — like stealing all of her phone chargers — she isn't afraid to take to Twitter.

17

Kanye West & Jimmy Kimmel

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (19)

In September of 2013, Jimmy ran a spoof on Kanye West's BBC Radio interview during which he claimed he was the "biggest" rockstar in the world. All in good fun, Jimmy wondered why Kanye felt he had "to be his own hype man."

But Kanye was NOT having it. In all caps, the rapper exploded in a series of tweets that Jimmy was "out of line" in trying to spoof his interview: "JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS"

Jimmy replied with this tweet: "apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me...."

Kanye spat back, to which Jimmy simply responded with this tweet, asking Kanye West to please tag him using @jimmykimmel. Lol.

That's when Kanye really let Jimmy have it.

He tweeted: "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON’T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON’T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER."

Another tweet: "I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY’S WEDDING."

And there were a bunch more. Jimmy responded to that last tweet with, "I like you too! Glad we cleared this up. RT @kanyewest I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S WEDDING"

The fight continued back and forth for some time and ended up going nowhere, of course.

18

Adam Levine & Lady Gaga

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (20)

Fans everywhere fell to their feet when they first heard Lady Gaga's hit single, "Applause." The song was a total bop, but it also talked about some high-brow cultural moments. For example, she referenced famous works of art like Sandro Botticelli's 1486 painting, The Birth of Venus in her lyrics.

But, apparently, not everyone was feeling the pop star's verses. The Voice host and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine tweeted, "Ugh..recycling old art for a younger generation doesn't make you an artist. It makes you an art teacher."

Gaga's response: "uh oh guys the art police is here"

Adam continued the Twitter feud by replying, "By the way, im NOT an artist. i sing in a band and i make music with my friends."

He then added, "While we're at it we should call the grammar police," replying to Gaga's use of "is" instead of "are" in her tweet.

Gaga refused to continue the conversation after this. Since then, the two artists haven't collaborated on any pop hits, and considering this convo, they probably won't.

Drake Bell & Justin Bieber

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (21)

If you're a Drake Bell stan, then you know that the Drake and Josh star is def NOT a Belieber. But you may have forgotten how the whole feud between Justin and Drake got started. Here's a refresher...

As Drake told KTLA, it all began when someone tweeted a picture of Bieber that "was photoshopped to look like he was wearing makeup." Thinking the tweet was humorous, Drake hit retweet (a grave mistake), and this started "a whole tidal wave" of hate comments from Bieber fans.

After receiving a ton of negative comments, Drake decided to just let loose with his feud tweets, facetiously making fun of Justin for wearing makeup, having a personal dresser to hone his look, and more. I mean, why not?

It was all fun and games until Justin responded to Drake's tweets... in person. The Canadian pop star tried to crash Drake's album release party. Since he couldn't get in, Justin just decided to let his fans do the talking. He simply rolled down his window in front of Drake's party venue, which caused the crowd to go WILD.

Bieber then posted a video of the screaming fans to his Instagram account, saying, "So nice seeing my fans at the grove tonight." He made absolutely NO mention of Bell.

And the jokes kept coming. Justin posted a picture to Instagram of Drake Bell looking at the crowd outside asking, "Why is @justinbieber sprinter van getting more attention than my album release party."

Moral of the story: don't mess with Bieber fans.

20

Bella Thorne & Charlie Puth

21 Times Celebrities Fought on Social Media (22)

Here's how it went down...

In September 2016, Bella Thorne began dating Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey. The pair seemed inseparable (not to mention adorable), but by December, things fizzled out and they split.

Two weeks after their breakup, Bella was seen kissing Charlie Puth.

Then, all of a sudden she posted a nostalgic picture of her and Tyler, and that's when things got confusing. Did that mean that there was trouble in paradise for her and Charlie? Was she missing Tyler?

To make matters more confusing, Charlie then started posting strange, apologetic tweets. This one for example: "No one should have their heart messed with like this, and I'm not going to be in the middle of it." And this one: "I don't know Tyler personally, but I know he shouldn't be treated this way."

What really happened, as Bella cleared up on The Jenny McCarthy Show, was that Charlie had seen an old article that made it look like she and Tyler were still dating. Heartbroken, he ignored her calls and took to Twitter.

"He should have just called me," Bella said on the McCarthy Show.

Once she finally got ahold of Charlie and explained, the awkward tweets about Tyler ceased. Bella finally responded to all the drama with this tweet, which reminded everyone that she wasn't dating anyone at all. So basically, get out of her business.

Also, where the heck was Tyler during all this?? Apparently, he didn't feel the need to clear anything up because he was radio silent.
